2 Minute Review: Primed & Ready Face Primer by Prestige

When we do our Glam Nights, most women are very excited to focus on fun eye makeup and lashes, because they want to step out of their comfort zone and try something new and exciting.  Bold colors and drama are always easiest to present via the eyes…so inevitably that is what people look forward to.

When Glam Nights are finished, however, most of our ladies are over the moon excited about something that they never expected:  Face Primer.

Face Primer is not the most glamorous of beauty products…and many women we've met with have never heard of it...or wonder why they even need it.  Once we whip some primer options out, however, and they see what they’ve been missing, they never want to go without it again.  We heart Heart HEART a good primer, but it is almost impossible to describe what it can do for you…if you’ve never actually used it.  Trust us, though…you want to use it.

Serving as a base for your makeup, a good primer will smooth uneven skin and fine lines, making the surface of your face feel better than it ever has…at least since you were 5 years old.  Makeup applies more evenly, and wears much longer, when you apply it over a primer…it’s just that simple.

If you’re not using a face primer, or if you’re looking for a new one, we’d love to recommend Prestige’s Primed & Ready Face Primer, which we received among our Prestige goodies for review.

Primed & Ready by Prestige is packed full of vitamins and antioxidants that are great for your skin, has a creamy formula that absorbs easily, and feels awesome once it’s applied.  It’s VERY reminiscent of our favorite primer of all time: Photo Finish by Smashbox.  As with other Prestige products we’ve reviewed…the biggest difference between this primer and those from “high end” lines is the price.  As far as we can tell, the payoff is the same as you would get from a much more expensive product….so why would you want to pay more?

Primed & Ready Face Primer gets a big seal of approval from WyoSparkles.  You can find it for around $11.50 at, or at Ulta!

What’s your favorite face primer?  Have you tried this wonder by Prestige?
