Tuesday's Take It or Toss It: Foot Product Edition

Alright ladies, summer weather is finally (thank heavens!) upon us, which means that we can't wait to get our feet out of our stuffy shoes and let them breathe in some fun sandals and flip flops.  With great weather comes great responsibility, however, and you have to take care of your feet if you're going to subject them to the wear and tear that summer always brings.

With this in mind, we thought we'd do some quick reviews of some foot pampering items we've gotten recently.  The verdicts are in...will we Take It...or Toss It?

First off, we each got a tube of "The Best Pedi Creme Ever!" in one of our recent Julep Maven boxes.

I have to say it right now...I was a bit skeptical at first.  I mean...the creme is by Julep...of course they are going to call it the best.  BUT...we decided to let our feet be the judges of the truthfulness of their claim...and we've gotta say...IT'S TRUE.  Neither of us has ever used a lotion that worked so well on dry and tired feet.  Dry spots immediately disappear, and the effects last for days.  If you're not familiar with Julep and their products, go to their site right now...(http://julep.com/?r=19223630)...and as for this Pedi Creme...definitely...Definitely...DEFINITELY...

Next, we picked up a Deodorising Foot Scrub by Montagne Jennesse, in Watermelon & Balm Mint.

These little packets, which can be picked up at almost any drug store and/or Walmart, are inexpensive, which is always a plus in our book.  The scent is nice, and while it did feel good at the end of the day...it always feels good to massage your feet at the end of the day, so it's doubtful that this product is THE magic "feel good" potion for tired feet.  If you're looking for something as a quick fix for your feet, this product might be just the ticket...but if you're looking for something to use regularly to actually improve the health of your feet, we say....

Finally, it needs to be said, that we love tea tree oil, as it seems to work in about a million ways.  As an anti-fungal, it prevents infections, works as an expectorant when inhaled, and has an overall soothing effect.  Plus...we just really like the way it smells.  So, when we saw Earth Therapeutics Tea Tree Oil Cooling Foot Scrub during a recent trip to Ulta, we had to snatch it up!

This product combines tea tree oil with mint, herbs and pumice granules to create a cooling, exfoliating, invigorating, dream date for your feet.  Seriously...we love this stuff.  If you've got dry patches, calluses, or overall "tired of not looking and feeling fabulous" feet...we really think you'll like this product.  Our feet were smooth and felt WONDERFUL after doing pedicures with it!  Without a doubt...

So...that's it for today.  We hope these little reviews are helpful...and whatever you choose to use to make your feet feel fancy...we hope they look and feel fantastic!

Until next time...
